Strictly: Emma Thompson supports Greg in the audience

Strictly Come Dancing fans were stunned on Saturday night to see Emma Thompson in the audience with her daughter Gaia.

The Love Actually actress was there to support her husband Greg Wise, who is on this year’s series with her professional partner Karen Hauer.

As the couple took to the dance floor to perform American Smooth on That’s Life by Frank Sinatra, the camera turned to Emma and her daughter as they cheered on Greg.

Viewers were shocked to see her in Elstree’s studio and took to Twitter for comment.
