Love Island’s Shannon Singh is ‘gutted’ of ditching, but fans aren’t convinced

Love Island contestants and ITV2 viewers were shocked during last night’s episode when it was revealed that Shannon Singh would be leaving the villa after just 48 hours.

Many fans have taken to social media to express their anger after the Scottish influencer was forced to pack her bags just days after arriving in a shocking twist.

Shannon’s exit saw her become the first contestant to be banned from the series and left Islanders around the household in total shock.

The 22-year-old’s elimination came after the late arrival of Chloe Burrows who chose to team up with Aaron Francis, leaving Shannon single.

Shortly after, Shannon received a text telling her that she had been dumped from the island.

Speaking during her exit interview, Shannon revealed that she was “gutted” to be the first to go.

Adding: “Do you know what, out of all the girls I think it’s just me because I had no emotional attachment to guys but all the girls had little things [going on]. ”

But Love Island fans don’t care, with many calling for a joker plot twist.

“There is no way Shannon is gone, there will be 1000% rebound or she will return as a wild card,” one wrote.

While another added: “No way Shannon gets dumped… it’s an accumulation for a twist…”

And a third prospect said: “They have to bring Shannon back for Casa Amor. What a twist.”

“I don’t think Shannon has really left the villa,” commented a fourth, adding, “I believe she’s in a secret house somewhere and she’s going to come back in Big Brother style.”
