Katt Williams Stops Performance After Audience Member Loses Consciousness, Referring To Astroworld Tragedy | New
Actor Katt williams cited the Astroworld festival tragedy as the reason he interrupted his standing performance on Saturday, November 6 while an audience member received medical treatment, reports TMZ.
Williams was playing in Louisville when the individual passed out. Someone shouted, “Stop the show,” prompting the comedian to take a break as medics attempted to revive the audience member.
“I’m sorry if I don’t move on, but this Astroworld shit, I mean we can never go on until we know someone who’s okay… I’m not going to walk away with that on my conscience. … Just take five minutes… thank you sir… hope she just had a baby. That’s it, ”Williams told her audience, according to a video shared with TMZ.

Williams was referring Travis Scott ‘s Astroworld Music Festival on Friday evening (November 5) in Houston. At least eight people died and dozens more were injured when a rush of crowds to the stage caused spectators to stomp on.
“I am absolutely devastated by what happened last night,” Scott said in a statement on Saturday. “My prayers go out to the families and to all who have been touched by what happened at the Astroworld Festival.”
Following, a video has circulated on social media which appears to show Scott continues to perform as police attempt to revive a bystander. “You can’t tell me Travis Scott didn’t see this kid get resuscitated while he was up there doing the robot,” the video was captioned.
