First look at the 2022 Summertime by George concert series lineup

ST. CLOUD – As we all look forward to spring outside our windows, here’s something you’ll be looking forward to in the months ahead.

The 11th annual Summertime by George returns in June. A project of St. Cloud Rotary, the free weekly concerts are held on Wednesdays at Lake George near downtown St. Cloud. Music lovers can bring lawn chairs or blankets, cash for food and drinks, and enjoy two outdoor acts.

The opening acts take the stage each week at 5 p.m. with the headliners taking over from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Here is the program for this year:

June 22: Country group Mason Dixon Line with opener Kat Blue. Presented by RBC Wealth Management

June 29: Tribute band Xpedition with fly-half Julio Goldstien. Presented by US Bank

July 6: country singer Chris Kroeze with Green Light Night opener. Presented by Schlenner Wenner and Co.

July 13: Free and Easy stage band with opener Honey Badgers. Presented by Gilleland Chevrolet

July 20: Queen tribute band The Crown Jewels with opening Six to Midnight. Brought to you by Coborns, Inc.

July 27: The Alabama Songs of the South tribute band presented by Shane Martin with opener Aaron Clafton. Presented by Quinlivan and Hughes PA

August 3: Pamela McNeill Productions presents: “Wild Angels – the Women of Rock, Pop and Country” opening with Walter’s Wheelhouse. Presented by St. Cloud Times – LOCALiQ

August 10: Michael Shynes with fly-half Guytano. Presented by Xcel Energy

August 17: The Dap Squad with opener Sawyer’s Dream. Presented by Spire Credit Union

August 24: The Fabulous Armadillos with opener Going to the Sun. Brought to you by Eich Motor Co.
