ESA Joins ‘My Universe’ Craze, Coldplay-BTS Fans Can’t Keep Calm

Social media platforms have been inundated with photos of space, galaxies and the Milky Way over the past two days, but it has nothing to do with space exploration. For those wondering, it’s because of a new song called ‘My world’ by British rock band Coldplay and South Korean boy band BTS.

Today, the European Space Agency (ESA) also decided to jump on the bandwagon, generating a lot of excitement among fans. The space agency shared footage from across the universe with the song’s lyrics as its caption. Of Rings of relativity captured by the Hubble Space Telescope on the TGO camera image showing a detailed overlay of Mar’s uneven surface, the space agency this week shared the best footage harnessing the new song’s craze.

“And you (you), you are (you are) #myUniverse, and you light up my world inside,” ESA wrote, tagging the two bands.

The K-Pop sensation has teamed up with the legendary British band for the song which is part of Coldplay’s latest album “Music of Spheres” and aims to highlight the power of love to transcend all barriers.

Since the epic collaboration was announced, fans have been seen changing their profile photos en masse for vibrant galactic backgrounds.

ESA’s reference to the song added to the online buzz with numerous comments that it should be adopted as a “hymn.” The post was even noticed by Coldplay, who retweeted it.

The song which combines the sensibilities of the two groups, showcasing their soft vocals, has captured hearts online. There is even a dancing break, with the artists hoping to be able to play it together someday.

So far, both groups have released a lyric video of the song, as well as a documentary, while the official video will be released later.
