PARKERSBURG — Division Street will perform Thursday at 7 p.m. as part of the Artsbridge Music in the Park Concert Series at the Parkersburg City Park Bandstand.
The local band, fresh from a performance at the Riverfront Roar in Marietta, are a five-piece band from Parkersburg who have been performing together for more than six years, playing top rock hits from the 1980s through 2000s, including the Foo Fighters, Soup Bowling, Weezer and Green Day. Division Street also performs classics from the Beatles, Tom Petty and Johnny Cash.
The band members are BJ Hess, Blake Johnson, Greg Cochran, Steve Grasser and Travis Hunt.
Lawn chairs, blankets and dancing are recommended. The show, sponsored by the West Virginia Central Credit Union, will be moved to the horseshoe pits in the event of rain.
The concert series celebrates its 20th anniversary with drawings, giveaways and food trucks. The concerts are free, but Artsbridge will ask for donations to help its arts and education programs.
