As part of the government’s response to Plan B against Covid in the UK – The Premier League now requires fans to attend matches at the Amex:

  • Provide at the spot check an accepted form of COVID-19 certification with corresponding photo ID (all fans aged 18 or over)
  • Complete an online COVID declaration form before the game
  • Wear a face cover when traveling in internal or busy areas of the stadium and on public transport to and from the stadium.

It will be illegal to grant admission to anyone unable to comply with this legal requirement.

All accepted Covid statuses listed below must be accompanied by an identity document that corresponds (all fans in home or away areas aged 18 or over).

Accepted forms of Covid status

Not accepted

NHS Covid Passdigital, saved in your Apple or Google mobile phone wallet presenting a double vaccination record or medically exempted pass

Any pass that does not match the photo ID.

NHS Covid Pass – digital, generated by the NHS application on your mobile phone on presentation of a double vaccination record or a medical exemption certificate.

Any screenshots or other images of any kind relating to the display of the NHS Covid Pass or NHS communication.

NHS SMS or email to confirm a negative lateral flow test or one negative PCR test within the previous 48 hours

You should also continue to make sure you follow government guidelines and should not attend if you have symptoms of COVID-19 (a high temperature, a new continuous cough, or a loss or change in your sense of smell or taste. )

Online declaration

Fans coming to the match must complete a pre-match online declaration form before arriving at the stadium. For match ticket holders (for home and away matches) this will need to be done before each match they wish to attend; Membership holders will only need to do this once to cover the season from their Amex seat, but will be required to complete for all guests game by game or away games.

Complete your return on time. These will be sent by email. In the future, for match ticket purchases this will be done at the point of purchase, but for any home or away match tickets already purchased, we will send a retrospective statement to be completed online.

Our 1901 Club members will also receive an email with more details, as the booking manager will need to make this declaration on behalf of their group.

Face cover and behavior

We urge everyone to continue to use common sense to protect themselves, other supporters and our staff, from COVID-19.

  • you should wear a face shield in confined areas such as lobbies and in congested areas such as queues. We also strongly recommend that you wear them inside the stadium bowl at all times.
  • you must wear a face cover when traveling to and from the match by public transport
  • maintain social distancing where you are able to

Amex trip

Full travel news for the game Albion v Wolves can be found here – please plan your trip carefully and remember to allow plenty of time for entry. We ask fans to arrive early if they can.

The club’s match-day travel program will be operational for this match with access to bus, train and park-and-ride services included in the ticket price.

Our limited additional parking can only be reserved in advance (no daytime cash sale).

We will be using the mobile ticket office for parking this season, and you will need to download the ticket to your phone to show it at the entrance to the relevant parking lot. In all of our car parks, we ask you to reverse the parking spaces.

Arrival at Amex

We will still be required to complete our usual stadium entrance and security checks before you enter the turnstile.

We respectfully ask you do not bring bags to the stadium. If you do, the the maximum size allowed will be A4 (297 mm x 210 mm). There are no exceptions to the policy and there are no bag storage facilities in the stadium. All bags left outside the stadium will be removed and disposed of.

  • Stadium Store will open at 3:00 p.m. (closing at KO and reopening after the final whistle until 9:30 p.m.) for match participants only
  • The Dicks Bar will open at 4:30 p.m.
  • The Hospitality & 1901 Club zones will open at 5 p.m.
  • The turnstiles will open at 5:30 p.m.

Mobile digital ticketing at Amex

Don’t forget to charge your phone before leaving for the Amex and download your tickets to your phone wallet.

Prepare your pass before heading to the turnstiles.

Tickets appear at the bottom of the Apple Wallet or in the Passes tab of Google Pay. You will be prompted to do so when you open Google Pay. If your phone does not have an NFC, tap the “Show code” option.
